When AI arrived, those habits felt surprisingly familiar. The quality of the conversation depended on the quality of the questions and the information available.

AI is remarkably good at reasoning. It can only reason from the information available. We often ask questions like “Can I retire at 60?” or “Should I overpay my mortgage?” as though there is a simple answer, when those questions depend on assumptions, context and trade-offs.
Wayli is my attempt to improve that starting point.

Prepare Before You Prompt is Wayli's philosophy for the work that happens before a conversation with AI begins.
It means understanding the question, making assumptions visible, noticing what could change the answer and bringing useful evidence into view.
It is not the destination. It is preparation for a more informed conversation and, ultimately, a better-understood decision.
Wayli is not a finished product. Every experiment, tool and article helps improve our understanding of how people and AI can make better decisions together.
