This page explains where Wayli uses AI, where it does not, and who is responsible for each output.
CURRENT PRODUCTS
What each product does.
It applies calculation rules to the retirement scenario entered. It does not use generative AI to calculate the result.
It applies repayment and plan rules to the information entered. It does not use generative AI to calculate the result.
They use structured inputs and predefined rules to prepare a question. They do not calculate a result or provide advice.
Rule-based or deterministic describes how these systems work. It is not, by itself, a conclusion about how the EU AI Act applies.
REPRODUCIBILITY
What can be reproduced.
The same captured evidence produces the same result when it is processed using the same engine version and rules. Results can change when the inputs, captured evidence, engine version or rules change.
EXTERNAL AI
Handoffs are optional and user-controlled.
A user may choose to copy a Wayli result, Summary or Prepared Question into an external AI service. Wayli does not send it automatically. The external service produces its own response under its own terms. That response is not produced or verified by Wayli and may be inaccurate.
AI IN BUILDING WAYLI
AI may assist the work.
AI may assist research, drafting, coding and testing. Published content receives substantive human review. Wayli checks calculations, claims and sources and accepts editorial responsibility for what it publishes.
CURRENT STATUS
No embedded generative-AI assistant.
Wayli currently has no embedded generative-AI assistant. If one is introduced, Wayli will clearly disclose where it is used and what it does.
