HOW WAYLI WORKS

Prepare Before You Prompt.

Wayli helps people understand an important question before they continue the conversation with AI.

THE SHARED JOURNEY

Question to decision.

  1. Question
  2. Scenario
  3. Understanding
  4. Conversation
  5. Your decision

01 · QUESTION

Start with a question.

Important questions often sound simple, but depend on facts, assumptions, timing, exclusions and trade-offs. The question is the starting point, not the whole story.

02 · SCENARIO

Build the scenario.

A Wayli Engine gathers or organises the information relevant to the question. Depending on the engine, this may include user facts, explicit assumptions, exclusions, deterministic rules, evidence and variables that could change the outcome.

Wayli also uses Question Blueprints to help people understand the options, identify the facts that matter and prepare a structured summary to discuss with AI, an adviser or someone they trust.

03 · UNDERSTANDING

Create understanding.

Wayli connects outputs to their basis and explains what they mean: what matters, what could change, where uncertainty lies, which trade-offs are involved and what remains outside scope.

Calculation and interpretation are related, but they are not the same thing. Interpretation helps you understand a result; it is not personal advice.

THE WAYLI SUMMARY

A structured record you can carry forward.

A Wayli Summary records the scenario in a form you can review and use as context. It may include inputs or evidence, assumptions, exclusions, rules or calculations, outputs, interpretation and limitations.

The exact contents depend on the engine or question blueprint. The summary reflects what Wayli showed at the time it was created.

04 · CONVERSATION

Continue the conversation.

You can take your understanding into an AI conversation to explore alternatives, ask follow-up questions, challenge assumptions and compare possibilities.

Better context can support a better-informed conversation, but Wayli does not control the response produced by an external AI system.

If the conversation is worth keeping, Threads can hold your own notes and the external AI summaries you deliberately bring back. See a Thread in use →

05 · YOUR DECISION

You remain responsible for the decision.

Wayli does not provide personal advice. AI responses are not guaranteed. Question the result, check the assumptions and seek appropriate professional help where it is needed.

The final decision remains yours.

ONE COMPACT EXAMPLE

The answer can change when the context is clear

QUESTION

Should I overpay my student loan?

WITHOUT ENOUGH CONTEXT

AI may focus mainly on interest savings.

WHAT WAYLI ESTABLISHES

Loan plan, earnings, expected future earnings, likely lifetime repayments and write-off timing.

BETTER-INFORMED CONVERSATION

If the borrower is unlikely to repay the balance before write-off, overpaying may not leave them better off. The useful next step is to compare alternatives.

Better context.
A better-informed conversation.
