Had a useful AI chat?
When the conversation has been useful, ask the AI to summarise where you got to. Paste that short summary back into your Thread.
Threads does not contain its own AI. Wayli can give you a prompt that asks your AI to create a useful summary, but the conversation still happens outside Wayli, in the AI you choose.
Threads doesn't send your conversation anywhere. You copy what you want into the AI you already use, then bring back the useful parts.

Keep the useful bits
Your Thread can hold your own notes, prompts you want to reuse, rough thoughts and unfinished ideas alongside useful AI summaries.
It doesn't need to be polished.
AI summaries stay labelled as AI. Your own notes stay yours.
AN ORDINARY EXAMPLE

Shorthand is fine. A thought can be incomplete. You do not need good grammar, perfect punctuation or a conclusion.

The user copies the thought into the AI they already use and talks it through there. Nothing is sent by Wayli.
- Ask the AI for a short summary
Wayli's summary prompt helps the AI capture where the conversation got to without adding new advice. Its simple Markdown keeps headings and lists readable, but you do not need to know Markdown to use it.
- Paste the summary into the Thread
AI summary · external AI · Monday The user is unsure whether the problem is the job itself or a particularly frustrating week. They want to notice what drains their energy, consider what they would want from another role, and avoid rushing into a conclusion.

A few days later, the user can see the original thought, the useful summary and their own note. They can add another thought or carry on without needing a final decision.

You might use ChatGPT today, Claude tomorrow, or Gemini, Copilot or another AI later. Your Thread stays as the place you come back to.
