We got noticed. Now what?

Two weeks after asking whether one guy and AI could get noticed, Wayli is appearing for more Student Loan searches and one page is being repeatedly cited by Bing AI. The next experiment isn't more content.

Two weeks ago we asked: Can one guy and AI get noticed?

The answer is beginning to look like yes - cautiously.

The same-salary Student Loan page now shows 18 citations in Bing AI's current 30-day Page Stats, compared with an earlier page-level baseline of 12. The plan-identification page has recorded 391 Bing search impressions at an average position of 8.5. The same-salary page is averaging about 2.9 on Bing, and about 4.7 in Google's latest seven-day sample. Wayli has also recorded its first Bing click in this experiment.

These are still tiny numbers. Bing AI reporting is rolling and sampled, search positions fluctuate, and crawl and change windows overlap. We cannot attribute the movement to a particular phase or individual change.

What we can say is narrower: search engines understand some of these pages well enough to surface them for the questions they were designed to answer, and Bing AI is repeatedly using one page as a source.

The next experiment is not to produce another 50 SEO pages.

We will keep the Student Loan pages largely stable. Instead, we will test whether useful content can earn a small number of genuine, independent external references or backlinks, then observe what happens to search visibility and AI citations.

Bought or manufactured backlinks would invalidate the experiment rather than prove usefulness. They do not count.

We wrote up the human side on One Guy and AI. Labs records the evidence and what we learned.
