Wayli Doesn't Stop at the First Question.
The first question is rarely the real problem. Wayli exists to understand what people are actually trying to decide.
People rarely arrive with the real question.
They arrive with the first question.
"Should I overpay my student loan?"
"Can I retire at 60?"
"How well does AI understand my website?"
Those are good questions.
They just aren't usually the ones people are trying to answer.
What changed
While building AI Readiness we realised something familiar.
Customers don't really want a score.
They want confidence.
A business owner asking how AI understands their website isn't usually interested in technical optimisation.
They're asking something much more human.
Will customers still be able to find me in a world where search is changing?
The first question is simply how that concern presents itself.
Why it mattered
Looking back, every Wayli product follows the same pattern.
A calculator answers the question it was given.
A decision engine tries to understand the motivation behind it.
That's a completely different job.
The more we built, the more obvious it became that understanding starts before the calculation.
It starts by discovering what someone is really trying to decide.
What I learned
The first question is often only the doorway.
The better question sits just behind it.
Helping people uncover that question may be the most valuable thing Wayli does.
The calculation simply supports the answer.
